The Katsina State Institute of Technology and Management (KSITM) has confirmed the receipt of student loan funds from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund, totaling over N18.27 million for the 2024/2025 academic session.
In a confirmation statement addressed to the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of NELFUND by the Desk Officer of KSITM, Kauthar Kabir, the institution disclosed that a total of 309 students benefited from the disbursement.
The institution further revealed that the total amount received on behalf of the 309 students stands at N18,269,100.00, which was disbursed in February.
“On behalf of Katsina State Institute of Technology and Management, I write to formally confirm the receipt of loan disbursement from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) for Three Hundred and Nine (309) students of Katsina State Institute of Technology and Management (KSITM) under 2024/2025 academic session.
“The total amount disbursed to the Institute on behalf of these students is Eighteen Million Two Hundred and Sixty-nine thousand One hundred naira Only (N18,269,100.00) only on Tuesday, 17th February 2026,” the statement read.
The KSITM expressed appreciation to NELFUND for the intervention, noting that the support would significantly improve access to education and boost quality technical and vocational education for students of the state-owned institution.
The institution also reaffirmed its commitment to continued collaboration with the loan fund, saying, “Thank you for your continued partnership and support.”
