Rosam, an alumnus of Niger Delta University, was a House Officer at Central Hospital, Warri, working in the Paediatrics Department.
Reports indicate that he collapsed in the Accident and Emergency Unit, went into a coma, and after fighting for his life for several days, sadly passed away.

“After so many years, today I stepped into Azikoro Cemetery in Bayelsa State for the first time to witness the burial of my first cousin, Dr Ronami Sampson Ogbomade (Rosam), who passed away in Warri.
Rosam, I couldn’t cry. It felt so unbelievable that I was standing over your body as you lay there lifeless,” Joel Ikiba, Rosam’s cousin, said.
Rosam’s cousin lost in thought
Ikiba shared how the deceased influenced him to return to Idema after his first visit in May 2001.
He recounted how apprehensive he was when he first travelled to reconnect with his maternal family, unsure of what to expect.
“Had you not made Idema welcoming for me, I probably wouldn’t have returned. Your laughter, your smile, and the warmth of brotherhood you showed me made me feel at home.
R4, I am lost in thought. I last saw you alive during your induction as a medical doctor. I was overjoyed because you had overcome many hurdles to achieve that milestone,” he added.
