KOFORIDUA, GHANA – In a shocking case that has drawn widespread attention, a 22-year-old man, reportedly a relative of a local landlord, has been remanded by the Koforidua District Court for allegedly robbing and raping a nurse serving her national service.

The victim, a 25-year-old nurse, was reportedly living in a rented room within a family-owned compound when the alleged attack occurred. Sources indicate that the suspect, familiar with the residence, invaded her room, sexually assaulted her, and stole valuables before fleeing the scene.
Following the incident, the suspect was arrested by local authorities and arraigned before the court, which subsequently ordered his remand pending further investigations.

According to a neighbor who witnessed the incident, the suspect entered the victim’s room, prompting the neighbor to climb onto the ceiling and record the attack.
