Anambra State – A chilling incident has emerged from Anambra State, where a woman claims that her late husband, Peter, was captured on CCTV walking around their compound months after his burial. The story has since drawn widespread attention, with locals and social media users discussing the strange events.
Peter, a hardworking father of three, had been hustling in Lagos when tragedy struck. He died in a motor accident, and his body was brought back to his village in Anambra State for burial. For a while, life appeared to return to normal for his widow and children.
However, several months after the burial, the woman began noticing unexplained phenomena in her home. She reported that kitchen utensils and plates would break mysteriously at night. Sounds of movement and strange disturbances in the compound began to unsettle her, prompting her to call relatives to stay with her for safety.
On the advice of a family acquaintance, the woman installed a CCTV camera in the compound to monitor unusual activity. On the first night, the footage showed a man standing near the gate, but upon closer inspection, he disappeared. The family initially dismissed it as a trick of the light or an animal.
Months later, the CCTV captured a more unsettling image: according to the woman, her late husband Peter was seen walking in the compound. In the footage, he appears to move calmly toward the gate, as if checking on the house. Alarmed, the woman immediately contacted Peter’s brothers, who came to the home to investigate.
