On April 2, tragedy struck Ggaba Kindergarten School when Okello allegedly killed four little angels: four male victims and one female victim aged between one and two years old.
The weapons used to kill them were revealed, and ongoing investigations seek to uncover the suspect’s motive and ensure school security going forward, as many people have questions about it.

How long was Okello at the school?
During the hearing into the murder at Ggaba Community Church grounds, the prime suspect, Okello, took to the stand and the prosecution has told court it plans.
The court played CCTV footage showing the movements of suspect Okello Onyum on April 1, 2026, and he was seen driving to the scene, walking into the area, and leaving approximately six minutes later.
The vehicle he used is identified with a red arrow. The murder incident at the Ggaba daycare occurred a day later, on April 2, 2026.
A police surgeon told the High Court that Okello disclosed a past attempt to take his own life during a psychiatric evaluation.
According to 91.2 CROOZE FM, Emmanuel Nuwamanya, the Deputy Director of Police Health Services, informed the court that the suspect also revealed a history of mental health challenges that included episodes of hallucinations. The testimony forms part of ongoing court proceedings as investigations into the case.
