The Ogun State Police Command has reinforced security across Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres, as part of efforts to ensure a safe and orderly examination process for candidates.
The Commissioner of Police, Bode Ojajuni, led an inspection team to several centres across the state, accompanied by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations, Bolanle Muritala.
The visit was aimed at assessing the level of security deployment and ensuring adequate protection for students participating in the ongoing examination conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board.
During the tour, CP Ojajuni expressed satisfaction with the professionalism and conduct of officers deployed to the centres, emphasizing that the safety of candidates remains a top priority for the Command.
He assured parents, guardians, and other stakeholders that comprehensive security measures have been put in place to guarantee a peaceful and hitch-free examination process throughout the state.
The police boss also urged candidates to remain orderly and cooperate with security personnel, stressing that collaboration is essential to maintaining a calm and conducive environment.
The Ogun State Police Command reiterated its commitment to safeguarding lives and property, particularly during critical national exercises such as the ongoing JAMB examinations.
