Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has reaffirmed his confidence in the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as a rising opposition force, following a meeting with stakeholders from Adamawa State.
Atiku disclosed that he received members of the Adamawa State chapter of the party at his Abuja residence, describing the visit as one that deeply touched him.
He expressed appreciation for their gesture and used the opportunity to charge the newly formed state leadership on the importance of unity and inclusiveness.
According to him, the leadership must see unity as a “sacred duty,” urging them to heal internal divisions, carry all members along, and provide fair and balanced leadership.
