Vihiga girl allegedly dumped in kampala by cousin appeals for help to return home: "Ambia wazazi"

Kampala, Uganda: Kenyans are stunned and angry after watching a video of a young girl who said that she was taken to Uganda by a cousin, but then he left her stranded and ran for the hills.

Beryl Akumu Juma said she is from Mukuyuni in Luanda, Vihiga county, and she was taken to Kampala, Uganda, by her cousin Kevin Odhiambo, and left on a flyover in the heart of the town.

“I don’t know where I am if anyone knows my parents, George Odera and Phillister Agutu they should tell them to come and pick me,” she said.

“I don’t go to school because of a lack of fees,” said Akumu at CBS in Kampala Uganda.

Many people were perturbed that a young girl could leave the country without the consent of her parents, which should not happen.

While many people had narrowed down the place of birth of the girl as Luanda in Vihiga county, it has emerged that there are several places called Luanda in Kenya, and there was a need for more information.

Rodgera Chilisws said:

“Thank you for your information but can you give us the telephone number of CBS, then somebody can call you and to know the specific place of that girl came from because Kenya we have different places called Luanda; we have Muluwanda, border connecting Kenya and Uganda that is in Lumino, Uganda, and then we have Mulwanda in Kakamega county then Luanda Kotieno in Kisumu county and Luanda Vihiga county.”

“It is better for the girl to tell us the real place and which language she can speak because Kisumu is a majorly Luo language place What I know about that age is that she can tell us the phone number of her parents, so we can contact her father or mother or any close relative. Thank you for helping our girl. God bless you,” he added.

By night time, Sally Opwanda, the lady who shared the video confirmed with NgGossips that the young girl had not yet been picked up.
