Simon Kabu and his daughter Maureen are the latest to join the bandwagon of eager well-wishers who want to help the viral Kwa Mbae boy and his family.
“Maureen, look into the matter and see to it that Musa and his family get on a plane, also some of the monetary support that we can give them,” he said.

How long has Lewis been ailing?
Kenyans have fixed April 26, as the day when the good deeds that the family has been experiencing will culminate in a huge fundraising event that will raise money to pay the bill for young Lewis Baraka, who is still in the hopsital after undergoing surgery for throat cancer.
The young boy was hospitalised four months ago, and his father left his job to go and spend time with Lewis and care for him himself at the Chogoria PCEA Mission Hospital. Thanks to a kind neighbour who offered his title deed, the boy was taken to the Kenyatta University Teaching, Research and Referral Hospital, where he got specialised treatment.

Boda riders make grand entrance at Kwa Mbae home
In a previous story, boda boda riders united and went to support Musa Kihara’s family in Tharaka Nithi and they raised KSh165,000 for her.
The grand visit of the riders showcased a positive side of the community and also contrasted with past confrontations that some riders are known for.
Kenyans also expressed gratitude as well as hope for Musa’s healing through heartfelt messages and prayers from different parts of the country.
