Social commentator and businessman, Isaac Fayose, has reacted to the recent visit of Peter Obi to Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, where the former presidential candidate reportedly received a warm استقبال from residents.
In a video circulating online, Fayose called on supporters to tag Sunday Igboho, referencing past remarks allegedly attributed to the Yoruba nation agitator about Obi’s presence in the region.
“I thought he said Peter Obi should not come to Ibadan?” Fayose said. “He was live in Oyo State today, and people were happy.”
Fayose used the moment to criticize the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), blaming the party for worsening economic hardship across the country. According to him, the current situation has significantly eroded public support for the party.
“APC has finished everybody with hunger. It’s not possible for APC to get 15 percent of the total votes cast in 2027. Even Yorubas will not vote for them,” he added.
