Former presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, taunted former Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, at the court premises over the money laundering charges filed against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Sowore and Malami met at a court in Abuja ahead of the hearing of the 16-count charges brought against Malami by the EFCC.
According to reports by Daily Trust, Sowore stated that the “system” Malami once used to suppress opposition figures during the previous administration has now turned against him.
In response, Malami maintained his stance, saying he has not been brought down despite the charges he is facing. He added, “I will never be reduced as long as Nigeria exists.”
