Simisola Bolatito Kosoko, professionally known as Simi, has built a reputation as one of Nigeria’s most influential female voices in contemporary music. Her journey reflects resilience, artistic evolution, and a steady rise from humble beginnings to international recognition.
Born on April 19, 1988, in Ojuelegba, Surulere, Lagos State, Simi is the youngest of four children. Raised in a Christian household, she developed an early interest in music through church choir participation and childhood songwriting.
