The Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) has confirmed that the recent disagreement between Seyi Makinde and the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Rashidi Ladoja, has been amicably resolved.
In a statement issued on Sunday by its Publicity Secretary, Kola Olomide, the council said concerns over perceived tensions between the governor and the monarch had been laid to rest.
Quoting the CCII President-General, Ajeniyi Ajewole, the statement noted that the issues were addressed through internal dialogue and established traditional conflict-resolution mechanisms in Ibadanland.
The council emphasized that the resolution reflects the enduring strength of Ibadan’s cultural institutions in managing disputes and preserving unity among key stakeholders.
