Nairobi, Kenya: Kenyans have raised more than KSh 223,000 for young Tito Wambua and his family, who have been going through a hard time.

Tito was first thrust into the limelight when a video of him caring for his siblings emerged, and many were shocked by his maturity as well as his expertise in caring for kids and cooking the traditional way.
A further look into the house, however, spelt chaos: there were clothes strewn everywhere, and the kids said that they had never used a mattress in their entire lives.

A compassionate Kenyan woman later visited their home and vowed to move them to a better house, as netizens applauded her kindness.
In a recent video, the pre-teen announced that they had raised KSh 223,000 from people who had seen his plight.
“I shall be leaving for school; someone has agreed to help me. Now all I want is to leave my family in a safe and secure place. I’m pleading with Kenyans to build a house for us,” he said.

In the video, the boy was seen making a meal from a hearth with three stones; expertly cooking ugali for his younger siblings, who all looked up to him.
