The Ogun West Professionals for Yayi (OGWPY) has described the emergence of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, as the consensus candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 Ogun State governorship election as a defining moment.
The Chief Spokesman of the OGWPY, Dr. Morakinyo Sola Oloyede, stated this in a news statement made available to newsmen.
The statement , which was released on Sunday, said: “The Ogun West Professionals for Yayi (OGWPY) heartily congratulates Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi) on his historic emergence as the consensus gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 Ogun State governorship election.
“This landmark decision, announced by His Excellency, Governor Dapo Abiodun, marks a watershed in the political evolution of Ogun State. It reflects rare statesmanship, strategic foresight, and an uncommon commitment to party cohesion and the larger interest of the state.
