The Permanent Chairman of the Southern Nigerian Traditional Rulers Council (SNTRC), Arole Oodua Olofin Adimula and the Natural Head of the Oduduwa race worldwide, the Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, CFR, Ojaja II, has celebrated his daughter, Princess Adewamiwa Ogunwunsi, on the occasion of her 19th birthday, describing her as a source of pride and joy to the royal household.
In a statement issued on Monday by his Director of Media and Public Affairs at the Ooni’s Palace, Otunba Moses Olafare, the Ooni expressed deep gratitude to Olodumare for the life, growth, and accomplishments of the young princess.
The Ooni commended Adewamiwa for her humility, discipline, and commitment to upholding the cherished values of the ancient Ile-Ife kingdom, noting that her conduct continues to reflect the rich cultural heritage and dignity of the Yoruba race.
He offered prayers for her continued guidance, wisdom, and protection, urging her to remain steadfast in her pursuit of excellence and service to humanity.
“As you mark this significant milestone of your 19th birthday, I thank the Almighty for your life and the joy you bring to us. May you continue to grow in grace, wisdom, and strength, and may your path be guided towards greatness,” the statement quoted the Ooni as saying.
The Ooni Ogunwusi added a heartfelt personal message to his daughter: “Adewamiwa, my precious princess, today marks another glorious chapter in your beautiful journey. May God’s light continue to surround you, guide you, and lift you in all things. You bring joy to my heart, and I remain endlessly proud of the young woman you are becoming. Shine on, my daughter. Happy Birthday.”
