Social commentator, Isaac Fayose, has raised fresh concerns over Nigeria’s worsening economic hardship, claiming the situation is now visibly affecting daily life, especially in Lagos State.
In a viral outburst, Fayose lamented that roads once known for heavy traffic have become unusually quiet, attributing the change to the high cost of living and skyrocketing fuel prices.
According to him, many Nigerians can no longer afford to move around as they used to, alleging that poverty has forced people to park their cars.
He went further to call out President Bola Tinubu, urging him to step down over the economic crisis.

Fayose also called on Senate President Godswill Akpabio to initiate impeachment proceedings, insisting that urgent leadership action is needed to “save Nigeria.”
“Nigerians are struggling daily, with fuel prices making it nearly impossible for average citizens to cope, while confidence in institutions like the judiciary and electoral body continues to decline,” he said.
His remarks have since sparked reactions online, with many Nigerians weighing in on the state of the economy and the government’s handling of the crisis.
