“I am not a dependent person, and I am passionate about my work. Getting the job done is my top priority. Throughout my life, I have been driven by a passion for driving government vehicles.

Sir, with God’s guidance, I would sincerely appreciate it if you could consider recommending or finding me a project vacancy in any parastatal. I trust in God Almighty to use you as my destiny connector to the job of my dreams,” he continued.

Korir thanked his MP for taking the time to read his application and expressed hope for a positive response.

Kenyans react to Korir’s letter

Article sparked mixed reactions among social media users, who flooded the comment section to share their views.

Geoffrey Koech:

“Hope you’ll be assisted, brother. God be with you.”

Arnold Kingswood:

“Pleading with conditions, why don’t you just say you’re open to any driving job available?”

Benson Kirwa:

“Attaching conditions such as parastatals nullifies the authenticity of your job seeking. You are not desperate enough.”

Kiprotich Nyolei:

“Why specify where to get a job? If you’re genuinely looking for work, you don’t do it this way.”
