Vihiga, Kenya: A young man identified as Victor Musiori is suffering in great pain after he was allegedly assaulted by his employer and is now unable to get proper treatment.

Speaking to NgGossips, Musiori’s relatives said that he comes from a place identified as Musunji, but sadly, he lives all alone and initially did not even have a place to stay.

“He was injured after he was assaulted by his employer after he went to request his payment; he was beaten and his leg was broken, and he has been sick for more than seven months,” said his neighbour
Given his condition, the church took it upon itself to take the young man to a Huduma Centre for ID registration twice, but for almost two months, he hasn’t received his identity card.
“All this time he has been suffering from a broken limb, according to the X-ray, but he cannot access health services because he does not have Social Health Authority (SHA), and he is not able to pay for his meds,” said a neighbour.
“He’s from a poor background and the church built his house; even his basic needs are currently being bought by the church because he is unable to work now because of his condition,” he added.

Why can’t he go to the Vihiga public hospitals?
Over the last few months, Musiori has been trying to go and get treatment from the public hospital, but he alleges that he has been denied help.
“They did not get help; there was bad reception two times, the social worker is not cooperating, and they were physically chased as well,” said the neighbour.

“The situation of the boy is so bad; he can’t walk, is in so much pain, the leg has puss and the rejection from the hospital today has also broken his spirit,” he added
Homa Bay man needs KSh 2.1 million for treatment
In a different story, Robert Ouko, a 31-year-old father of two, is appealing for help to raise KSh 2.1 million to clear his hospital bill.
The man from Homa Bay collapsed on January 2, and was taken to the hospital for treatment at the Aga Khan Hospital in Kisumu.
The illness struck just three months after he secured a job as a sales manager, cutting short his chance at financial stability.
