The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of results for candidates who sat the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on Monday, April 20.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the board’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, confirmed that affected candidates can now access their scores through the usual result-checking channels.
According to JAMB, candidates are required to send “UTMERESULT” to 55019 or 66019 via SMS, using the same phone number they used during registration.
This latest release is part of JAMB’s ongoing batch-by-batch publication of UTME results since the examination began on April 16.

So far, results have been released for candidates who wrote the exam on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and now Monday.
The board had earlier faced criticism after a delay in releasing the Friday and Saturday results as initially scheduled.
However, the results were eventually made available on Sunday, with JAMB apologising for the inconvenience and citing official engagements involving its leadership.
The 2026 UTME involves over two million candidates nationwide, taking computer-based tests across accredited centres, with results being processed and released daily.
