Nollywood actor Zubby Michael has sparked reactions after revealing that he distributed ₦10.2 million to people on the streets, describing the gesture as his version of paying tithe.
In an interview, the actor disclosed that the sum represents 10 percent of ₦102 million he recently earned from movie roles.
He explained that instead of giving a tithe through a church, he chooses to support people directly.
According to him, the decision is rooted in personal belief, as he does not subscribe to paying tithe through religious institutions.
“Not to brag, but I am the richest actor. The last time I checked my book, I realised that I have made ₦102 million from artist’s fees lately, not in my whole career but just recently.
