Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State has joined the growing list of regions mobilizing support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, following the official inauguration of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA), Orumba North Chapter.
The event, held on April 23, 2026, at the Alex Ekwueme Civic Centre, drew a large gathering of political stakeholders, ward executives, and supporters from across the local government.
The inauguration was led by Prof. Joseph Ugboaja, Chief Medical Director of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital and Zonal Coordinator of RHA for Anambra South Senatorial District. Represented at the formal ceremony by Chief Hon. Nestor Nnaemeka Okoro, Ugboaja described the re-election of President Tinubu as “a task that must be accomplished.”
He commended the President’s performance, highlighting key achievements such as economic reforms, ongoing road infrastructure projects, and improvements in the health and education sectors. Ugboaja cited developments within the teaching hospital as a reflection of progress in the healthcare system and referenced initiatives like NELFUND, which provides interest-free loans to Nigerian students.
According to him, while Nigeria’s journey toward economic growth remains challenging, the current administration has set the country on a path toward stability and development. He urged members of the newly inaugurated group to mobilize grassroots support and spread the message of hope across all communities in Orumba North.
Also addressing attendees, the local government RHA Coordinator, Chief Barr. Handel Okoli, emphasized the synergy between the federal government and Anambra State leadership under Governor Charles Soludo. He noted that several developmental strides in the state are linked to federal support and collaboration.
Okoli further called for inclusive voter mobilization, stressing that no eligible voter should be left out regardless of background or affiliation.
The newly appointed executives pledged full commitment to the task ahead, expressing confidence that Orumba North would deliver outstanding results in the forthcoming election.
The event concluded on a celebratory note, with participants exchanging pleasantries and reaffirming unity and readiness to deliver on the Renewed Hope mandate.
