The management and staff of the Trumpet Newspaper, have felicitated Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, on the occasion of his 59th birthday.
A statement signed by the Chief Executive Officer of the newspaper, Onowakpo-Thomas Clarkson, on behalf of the management and staff, hailed the senator for his sterling contributions to the growth and development of the country, Delta State and his senatorial district.
The statement said Sen. Onowakpo-Thomas, who represents Delta South Senatorial District, has, through his legislative duties, positively impacted national discourse, especially as it affects the economic and social well-being of his constituents.
“You have brought the robust experience garnered in the public service as a former local government chairman, ex-chairman of the Delta State Board of Internal Revenue, and your professional training as a chartered accountant, to bear on the discharge of your legislative functions in a distinguished fashion.

“You have remained committed and dedicated to service, demonstrating diligence, focus, and dedication to the welfare of the people you serve,” the statement added.
He prayed for God’s guidance, protection and good health for the celebrant, wishing him many more years of impactful service to his senatorial district, Delta State, and the country.
