Dr. Princess Ezinne Agwu, founder and CEO of the Dr. Princess Ezinne Agwu Foundation, has launched another empowerment program in Umuobuna ward, Uburu, Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, Nigeria.
Through the TreasureWells Youth Empowerment Foundation, the initiative targets women and youth with skill acquisition programs to build practical, income-generating abilities.
A veteran of numerous empowerment efforts, Princess Agwu emphasized during the launch that the gap between training and economic independence often dooms such programs. Her structured, results-driven approach aims to close it by providing startup support to graduates, turning skills into sustainable livelihoods.
Community members of Umuobuna where the programme took place, welcomed the effort with optimism, viewing it as a path to financial independence and reduced vulnerability.
The launch coincided with a cultural highlight where Princess Agwu’s mother, Dr. Queen Elizabeth Chikamnele Agwu, was honoured and tasked with ongoing mentorship of the women.
In addition, observers at the programme hailed the synergy describing it as one generation fostering values and cohesion, and the other building economic resilience, for a holistic model of community progress.
