Senior Pastor of the Dunamis International Gospel Center, Paul Enenche, has issued a strong warning to Nigerian leaders ahead of the 2027 general elections, urging them to avoid violence, rigging, and manipulation in their pursuit of power.
Speaking during a sermon on Sunday, the cleric emphasized that leadership must be rooted in the will of the people, not forced through financial inducement or electoral compromise.
According to him, any politician rejected by the public should step aside, rather than attempt to impose themselves through unethical means.

“People say they don’t want you, yet you spend money to impose yourself on them. Is that not a shame? Don’t rig to lead. Don’t kill to come into power,” he stated.
He further stressed that true leadership comes from acceptance, urging politicians to allow citizens determine who governs them.
Enenche also called on Nigerians and religious leaders to speak boldly against injustice and poor governance, noting that silence in the face of wrongdoing is equivalent to support.
