I was chased out of PDP, APC – Amaechi

Former governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi, has opened up on while he resigned his membership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Amaechi, who is now one of the key presidential aspirant under the African Democratic Congress, ADC spoke during a chat on Channels TV on Friday.

The former governor claimed that the ex-president Goodluck Jonathan and his wife, Patience Jonathan chased him out of the PDP out taking over the party structure in Rivers.

Amaechi said the same thing happened in the APC after he contested the party’s presidential primary election against the cure president, Bola Tinubu.

Asked to explain his reason for moving from one party to another, Amaechi said, “I was chased out of PDP, APC by the then president.

“The president and his wife took over the party structure in Rivers State and chased me out. The same thing happened in APC.”
