The 41-year-old MP passed away on Sunday, April 19, after undergoing surgery at a private hospital in Kampala, Uganda.
Her young daughter was among the relatives who visited Mulago National Referral Hospital mortuary, where her body was taken for a post-mortem examination.
Images shared online captured the young girl in her school uniform walking towards the morgue alongside her family members.
She appeared visibly sorrowful, her eyes red, seemingly from mourning and tears for her late mother.

How did Helen Nakimuli die?
According to preliminary reports, the surgery was unsuccessful, leading to complications that medical personnel were unable to reverse.
Nakimuli’s PA reported that the MP went in for an operation at 12:00 at Alexandria Specialised Hospital on Yusef Lule Road.
At around 3 pm, the doctor informed them that the operation had gone well, but the patient was not recovering. They were then asked to call a family member.
