A group of Ghanaians under the Concerned Youth Alliance, held a protest in Accra on Saturday, against illegal migration and what they described as the growing presence of foreign nationals, particularly, Nigerians, in Ghana.
According to the group, the situation is contributing to rising insecurity and increasing unemployment, as they claim some foreigners are taking jobs that should be available to Ghanaian citizens.
Speaking during the protest, one of the women accused Nigerians of being fraudsters, ritual k!llers and organ harvesters.
She further told her ‘sisters’ to wise up and look for other ways to make a living, saying that Nigerians are using them to destroy Ghana.
“Our women should wise up. Nigerians are using you to destroy Ghana. Nigerians are fraudsters, ritual k!llers and organ harvesters,” she said.
