  1. Carter was raised in St. George, South Carolina, in the Lowcountry region by his mother, Julie Carter. The late singer had made no mention of his father. He also has a brother – Cole Carter, who reportedly attended Clemson University and stays at Harleyville in South Carolina.
  2. Carter is also a real estate agent and co-founded a breast cancer charity, called The Local Voice. He is also the owner of Sunny Days RV & Campground. The Local Voice remembered his passing in a statement, and wrote “With heavy hearts we share the passing of Dylan Carter, co-founder of The Local Voice, talented musician, and someone who meant so much to our community. Dylan was the heart of what we do. He believed every voice matters and lived that every day. Through his music, his kindness, and his smile, he brought people together and made everyone feel seen.”
  3. Dylan is also known to hang out with his niece – Claire Julie Carter, Cole’s younger daughter. The two had their birthdays just one day apart, and Dylan had written in the past “I mean it when I say I would not want to share my cracker OR my birthday weekend with anyone else.”
  4. Dylan’s exact net worth is not a matter of public record. However, he has an estimated net worth of about $100,000 and $300,000, most of which came from his musical performances and other ventures.
  5. Dylan started pursuing music after his mother passed away, on October 15, 2022. He shared that this incident had inspired him to pursue music and audition for The Voice. During the audition, he performed I Look to You, which he had also sang at his mother’s funeral. Dylan had earned a four-chair turn on the occasion, and thanked the judges later for extending support. A video of Dylan’s audition has now resurfaced after news of his tragic demise broke.
