In a video making rounds online, the reality ... TV personality expressed frustration over the situation, revealing that she arrived at the airport as early as 5 a.m. after leaving her home by 4 a.m. for a scheduled 6 a.m. flight.
According to Tacha, the flight was initially delayed ... without clear communication, leaving passengers stranded for hours. She disclosed that as of 11 a.m., boarding had yet to commence, despite passengers being issued boarding passes, which created the impression that the flight would soon depart.
The situation reportedly worsened when passengers were later informed that the flight had been rescheduled to 3:30 p.m., allegedly due to operational challenges, including fuel issues.
Tacha, who had booked tickets for herself, her daughter, and her assistant, lamented that the delay ultimately caused her to miss an important event, describing the experience as distressing and disappointing.
She also criticised the airline for poor communication and lack of consideration for passengers, sparking reactions online as many Nigerians weighed in on the recurring issue of flight delays in the country.
She said, “Air Peace, if you want to be wicked, apply human sympathy to it. They claimed that they don’t have fuel, and you make people wait at the airport, and you gave us the impression we were going to fly. They are sending an email by 11 am to apologize.
AirPeace does not care because we are in a country where the judiciary does not work. You have spoiled my plans, you have destroyed my plans for the day. It is just business as usual for AiPeace owner, Allen Onyema.
They don’t care for the people. AirPeace always complains about the government, but they are the devil itself. They should have communicated, how will collect money from customers, knowing fully well that there wouldn’t be an operation. Air Peace is wicked.
They need to be boycotted. U guys do not respect Nigerians. How will you not know you don’t have fuel and collect flight money from customers? God will punish these Air Peace people.…....…
