The deceased’s brother specifically targeted A-list stars like Iyabo Ojo and Lateef Adedimeji, questioning why they were quick to post tributes on social media when they allegedly failed to support her professional endeavors while she was alive.
“You guys should stop posting my sister, you don’t know her age. She’s not 43, stop posting her, you guys never honor her when alive. Everybody dey post Allwell rest in peace, how many of you support my sister when she was alive?… All of una A-list artistes… you people don’t use her in your cinemas movie but now you guys are posting her, did you guys ever promote any of her movies?”
He further reminded the stars that Allwell had opened her family home to many of them during their early days in the industry.
Responding to the heavy allegations, actress Iyabo Ojo defended her relationship with the late producer, insisting that she was a constant pillar of support for Allwell’s career and personal life.
“I oversupported your sister when she was alive. When she was building her career as a producer and director, I featured in her movies countless times for free, and I also supported her financially and emotionally. May her beautiful soul continue to rest in perfect peace.”
