One of Ghana’s favourite Media Personality, Nana Aba Anamoah has once again proved to world that she has the softest hearts for the people on the streets. Her recent acts of charity involved a young needy but brilliant 21-year-old coconut seller.
This comes after she announced that Enoch, one of the coconut sellers she recently befriended, has gained admission into a tertiary institution. In a post on X, Nana Aba revealed that the 21-year-old had been given admission to study at IPMC Ghana.
The video showed Nana Aba picking the boy up from home, taking him to an IPMC satellite campus, and registering him for a degree programme.
This is not the first time the media personality has helped the needy. In 2021, she helped an unemployed graduate who was washing cars at a washing bay.
The Ghanaian broadcaster met, Boasiako Antwi, who holds a Second Class upper in Political Science from Ghana’s premier university, at a washing bay in Abgogba, where he now worked as a car washer after all his attempts to get a job failed.
Antwi Boasiako was an alumnus of the University of Ghana, having completed his studies in Political Science with a Second Class Upper degree in 2017. Out of frustration, the 28-year-old set out to look for a job and ended up as a washing bay attendant after all efforts to secure a stable job after his National Service proved futile.
In the early hours of Monday, May 10, 2021, Nana Aba shared a video of herself with Antwi at the washing bay where she had gone to get her Range Rover cleaned up.
In her quest to get him out of the washing bay, the General Manager of GhOne TV implored her fans and followers to help the university graduate with new job opportunities. Less than 24 hours after her post, she has been bombarded with dozens of job offers and scholarships.
This goes further to prove that Nana Aba Anamoah is one of the celebrities in Ghana who is interested in seeing the progress and growth of the youth.
