Nigeria is once again in mourning.
Tension and anger are rising across the country after over 40 innocent lives were reportedly lost in a brutal attack in Jos, Plateau State. The heartbreaking incident, which happened on Palm Sunday in Gari Ya Waye community, Angwan Rukuba, has left families shattered and many Nigerians asking the same painful question — how long will this continue?
Reacting strongly to the killings, fiery preacher Apostle Johnson Suleman did not hold back. The founder of Omega Fire Ministries openly slammed Nigeria’s leadership, calling the situation a clear failure of those in power.
According to him, what happened in Jos is not just another attack — it is proof that leaders are putting politics above the safety of the people.
In his emotional outburst, Suleman warned that history will not forget or forgive. He said leaders who fail to protect citizens today will be judged by future generations.
The outspoken cleric also addressed a sensitive issue many Nigerians debate daily — the role of prayer in times like this.
“Yes, we believe in prayer,” he stressed, “but prayers alone cannot replace responsibility.”
His message was simple but powerful: leaders must act, not just speak.
Suleman went further to express deep frustration, accusing those in authority of lacking compassion. According to him, the level of empathy shown so far is almost non-existent.
“We are tired,” he declared, echoing the feelings of millions of Nigerians who feel helpless and unsafe.
This latest attack has once again exposed the fragile security situation in parts of the country, especially in Plateau State, where violence has continued to resurface despite repeated promises from authorities.
Now, many are watching closely to see what actions will be taken — not just words.
The big question remains: Will anything really change this time?
