The newly reassigned Minister of State for Budget and Economic Planning, Doris Uzoka-Anite, has thanked President Bola Tinubu for her redeployment to the ministry, describing the appointment as a demonstration of confidence in her abilities.
In a statement on Wednesday, Uzoka-Anite expressed appreciation to the President, saying, “Thank you, Mr. President, for your leadership and trust,” and pledged her continued commitment to advancing the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda and delivering tangible results for Nigerians in her new role as junior budget minister.
President Tinubu had nominated Taiwo Oyedele as Minister of State for Finance, replacing Anite-Uzoka.
She was redeployed to the Ministry of Budget and National Planning as Minister of State, marking her third portfolio in the current administration.
She also extended her congratulations to Oyedele on his nomination as Minister of State for Finance, wishing him a smooth confirmation process and success in the task ahead.
Uzoka-Anite reaffirmed her dedication to national development and to working collaboratively with relevant stakeholders to drive the government’s economic priorities.
