The entire incident was recorded by a CCTV camera, capturing the helpless moment as it unfolded.
“Guys, be careful with thieves. This is Kilimani, where my friend Kolo was stretching beside the road. In the blink of an eye, his Samsung S25 Ultra was gone. Disclaimer: I posted this video not to harm anyone, but to caution people to be careful of thieves along Kilimani Road,” read the caption.

The minor road did not appear busy, with only a few vehicles and pedestrians passing by, which may have made the area seem relatively safe.
Kolo appeared to underestimate the situation, and within moments, he lost his KSh 115,000 premium phone.
While adjusting his angle and lighting to capture a better selfie, thugs riding on a motorbike snatched the phone from his hand, leaving him stunned.
He attempted to chase them, but they sped off too quickly for him to catch up and retrieve his high-end device.
