Ondo State Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has relieved all his political aides of their duties with immediate effect as part of efforts to enhance efficiency and improve service delivery.
The affected officials include all Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and Special Assistants (SAs) attached to the Governor’s office.
In an official statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan, the Governor expressed appreciation to the aides for their contributions to the development of the state and wished them success in their future endeavours.
The statement further revealed that the administration is set to appoint about 1,000 new aides drawn from the 203 wards across the 18 local government areas of Ondo State. The move is aimed at strengthening grassroots coordination and injecting fresh capacity into governance.
The appointments are expected to be announced in due course.
