A young woman has been left stunned after receiving multiple texts from her boyfriend lamenting about house chores.

Cynthia (not her real name) said she had visited the love of her life over the weekend, not knowing it would lead to a fight. She explained that she spent most of the weekend alone, as her boyfriend was busy with work.
According to her, she washed the dishes and cleaned the house—chores that her boyfriend seemed to view differently.
“There is this man I am dating. I visited him, and because he was busy, I washed the utensils and mopped the house. There were a few dirty clothes which I could not wash because my time was limited,” she said.

Cynthia left for home thinking all was fine, until she woke up the following morning to find several messages on WhatsApp and SMS.

She shared a screenshot of the messages, wondering how to respond to a man who was evidently annoyed, noting that she had only left two of her dirty dresses at his house.
“Hello, how are you? Why did you lie to me that you cleaned my house, yet I can see it is dirty?” he asked.
The young man continued to complain, noting that Cynthia had inconvenienced him because he had no time on weekdays to do laundry and other household chores.
“You know very well that during weekdays I operate on a tight schedule, yet you fail to wash your clothes and leave them here for me to wash. Surely, where will I get that time?” he added.
