“Even as the preacher said we should always go to church on Sunday, Dad, you need to go and repent, because all that you have done to Mum is worse than what the devil can do to us as humans,” he said, as mourners clapped in support.
The grieving man claimed his father blocked the ambulance carrying his mother from entering the hospital.
“I am not here to make anyone happy; I am just speaking about what truly hurts my heart. You hired people to prevent that from happening. Dad, go and repent,” he shared.
He acknowledged that he still respected his father, adding that his role was to learn from him while also questioning his actions whenever he felt they were wrong.
For him, calling out his father publicly was a way of holding him accountable, applying the principle of ‘agree to disagree’.
