A pastor has puzzled Kenyans after claiming he dreamt about the chopper crash that claimed the life of MP Johanna Ng’eno and five others who were on board.

The chopper crash occurred on the evening of Saturday, February 28, in Nandi, killing all who were on board.
In a puzzling post, a pastor now claims he had dreamt about the helicopter crash, even noting that one of the casualties in his dream was a politician.

Pastor Msafiri posted about the dream on Facebook on January 13, 2026, urging his followers to pray for all politicians.

The man of God noted that in his dream, the chopper, which he shared an image of, was a military one and had crashed in a forested area.
“#Dear friends, please pray for our politicians. I had a disturbing vision last night. I saw a helicopter crash with a well-known person inside. It fell into a valley, an area surrounded by forest, though the trees were scattered, possibly due to logging activity. The colour of the helicopter was similar to the one shown in the image below,” he said.
A spot check shows the Facebook post was not edited after the February 28 crash, fuelling debate among Kenyans online.
With yesterday’s chopper crash, the pastor, who reshared his old post as evidence of his dream, said his prophecy had come to pass.
When the pastor posted about his dream a little more than a month ago, it did not get a lot of attention, but since the crash yesterday, Kenyans have widely shared it, as it continues to elicit a debate online.
