The late Emurua Dikirr MP Johana Ng’eno’s widow, Nayianoi Ntutu, bravely eulogised her husband during a memorial service at AGC Karen.

Ng’eno’s widow was escorted to the pulpit, where she shared her glowing tribute to her hubby.
What were Naiyanoi’s words?
She fondly referred to him as Joha and the husband of her youth. She noted that the MP was the love of her life from the beginning.
Their life was full of endless possibilities when they fell in love, and he made life feel less frightening.
“To my beloved Joha, the husband of my youth, Joha, even saying your name carries a lifetime inside it. You were the love of my early days when everything was soft and full of possibilities. We were young, learning life together, and somehow you made it all feel less frightening and more beautiful,” she said.

The young widow still hears her husband’s laughter, which made dark days feel like a celebration.
She celebrated Ng’eno for being a devoted father with the biggest heart.
“Your laugh, oh, your laugh made dark days feel like a celebration. I can still hear it. I think I always will. The way you loved your children–you adored them. You held them with pride, you played with them, you looked at them like they were your greatest accomplishments. In their eyes you were a hero in mine you were a gentle, devoted father with the biggest heart,” she said.
Losing him was like losing the music of her dreams, and she vowed that death would not take away what they had built.
Nayionoi vowed to cherish her husband forever, adding that he was a part of her.

“You were my beginning, losing you felt like losing the music of my youth. The laughter, the dreams, the simplicity of believing we had endless time, but even death cannot take what we have built. It cannot erase the love, the memories, or the family we created. You will always be my Joha. Rest gently, my love; you are forever a part of me,” she added.
