Activities have begun ahead of the 70th birthday celebration of former Ogun State governor, Gbenga Daniel, as organisers roll out plans to honour the milestone.
One of the early events is a table tennis tournament scheduled for April 4, 2026, at the Conference Hotel in Ijebu-Ode. The competition is expected to bring together participants and spectators from different parts of the state, adding excitement to the celebration.
Sources within the planning team say the event is not only meant to celebrate Daniel’s achievements but also to promote healthy living, unity, and community spirit among residents and supporters.
Widely recognised for his role in governance and development, especially during his time as Ogun State governor, Daniel remains a respected figure in both political and business circles.
More activities are expected to be announced in the coming days as associates, friends, and supporters gear up to celebrate his life and accomplishments.
