  • Social media personality Peller is facing pressure from relatives for financial support after gaining popularity.
  • During a livestream, he shared his feelings of stress and burden due to these constant financial requests.
  • Peller feels the expectation to be the primary provider for his family is weighing heavily on him.

Social media personality Peller has expressed concern over what he says are constant financial requests from relatives following his rise to popularity.

Speaking during a recent livestream, the content creator admitted that the pressure of being seen as the primary provider for his family has started to weigh heavily on him, leaving him feeling stressed and burdened by the growing expectations.

“My family wants to k!ll me. Ever since I made it, they’ve been disturbing me. I’m the one paying my step-sibling’s school fees, what’s my business with them? We’re not even that close. It’s my father who had them, not my mom,” he said.

Peller went on to explain that much of the strain comes from relatives especially extended family members whom he says he barely has a relationship with but who still expect financial support from him.

His candid reaction has ignited debate on social media, with many weighing in on the challenges of setting financial limits, navigating family responsibilities, and coping with the pressures that often accompany sudden fame and success.

In other news… Activist English Alhaji has raised alarm over the alleged kidnapping of a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member, Abba, who is reportedly observing fasting.

According to Alhaji, Abba was kidnapped by armed bandits who are currently demanding a ransom of ₦5 million from his family, who are described as financially struggling. The activist shared the ordeal online, appealing for urgent intervention to secure the young corper’s release.

“The poor family cannot raise such an amount, and he is currently fasting while enduring this trauma,” Alhaji said, highlighting the distressing conditions faced by Abba.
