Pastor Nike Adeyemi, the wife of the Senior Pastor of Daystar Christian Centre, Pastor Sam Adeyemi, wept on Sunday as the most senior pastor of the church, Pastor Boye Oloyede, left its services.
The Co-Senior Pastor wept as she prayed for the pastor and his wife, Tiwa, and their children during a service on Sunday.
The second service on Sunday was largely dedicated to praying for Pastor Oloyede and Tiwa as they exit Daystar Christian Centre to pursue their own vision.
Both of them are topnotch leadership consultants and are going into it full time.
Pastor Oloyede has been in Daystar since 1999 as a member.
He started his journey in the church system as the Personal Assistant to Pastor Sam Adeyemi, growing to become the most senior pastor after the Co-Senior Pastors.
Tiwa Oloyede, nee Adeyemi, is the younger sister of Pastor Sam Adeyemi.
It was while serving as the personal assistant of Pastor Sam Adeyemi that Oloyede met and married Tiwa, who was at the time staying with the Adeyemis.
The Adeyemis superintended at their wedding.
It was thus an emotional one for Pastor Nike Adeyemi when it was her turn to pray for the couple during the second service on Sunday.
The Adeyemis, beginning with Pastor Sam, prayed for their success and the fulfilment of their visions as they leave the services of the church.
They also prayed for their children.
