Super Eagles striker, Paul Onuachu, has netted his 18th goal as another Nigerian, Chibuike Godfrey Nwaiwu, scored two goals for Trabzonspor in a league game against Fatih Karagumruk on Friday.
Scoring his seventh consecutive goal, Onuachu also provided an assist as Trabzonspor went on to win the game by 3-1.
The Nigerian opened the scoring in the 20th minute off an assist by Ozan Tufan to score his 18th goal in 21 league games in the Turkish Süper Lig.
This makes him the top scorer in the league in which Victor Osimhen also features for Galatasaray.
His closest rival for the Super Lig top scorer, Eldor Shomurodov, who has played more matches, has 16 goals.
In the second half of the game on Friday, Nwaiwu scored two quick goals.
Onuachu contributed to the third goal in the 50th minute with an assist.
