Former Big Brother Naija housemate Pere Egbi has shared his view that young, single women should avoid living alone.
According to him, it is safer and more advisable for single women to stay with friends or family members who can keep them company. He encouraged young women to always have someone living with them rather than staying by themselves.
Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) page, Pere wrote, “Personal advice to young women living in Nigeria who are single: don’t live alone. Always have someone stay with you a friend or family member. It’s never really a good idea for a woman to live alone.”
When a follower asked if his comment was influenced by the recent death of Abuja-based singer Ifunanya Nwangene, who reportedly died after being bitten by a snake in her home, Pere replied, “Everything.”
He further stated that living alone is generally not advisable, adding that this opinion applies to both men and women, not just females.

The activist expressed disappointment over the development, stating that he never imagined Obi Cubana would be involved in such an engagement. According to him, the situation was embarrassing and beneath the businessman’s public standing.
VeryDarkMan further alleged that Obi Cubana lacks grassroots political influence, insisting that he would be unable to mobilise votes within his own region. He dismissed the billionaire as an errand runner rather than a power broker.
Addressing ethnic relations, the activist argued that the Igbos’ challenges are not caused by the Yoruba or Hausa ethnic groups, but rather stem from internal issues. He accused Obi Cubana of prioritising personal interests, which he claimed explained the businessman’s silence over the continued detention of Nnamdi Kanu.
He also pointed out that figures such as Sunday Igboho and Sheikh Gumi are currently free, while Kanu remains in custody. VeryDarkMan urged Obi Cubana to reconsider his choices, emphasising that while political participation is a personal decision, leaders should act in the collective interest of the people.
