The Independent National Electoral Commission has begun uploading results of the Federal Capital Territory Area Council chairmanship elections on its Result Viewing portal.
During the polls held on Saturday, 68 elective positions were contested, including six chairmanship seats and 62 councillorship positions.
On the portal, as monitored at 7:35 pm, 847 results had been uploaded so far from the 1,401 polling units in the Abuja Municipal Area Council. In other councils, Kwali has 75 results uploaded from 201, Kuje has 115 out of 262, and Gwagwalada has 204 out of 338.
Bwari Area Council has 255 results uploaded from 485 polling units, while Abaji has 42 out of 135.
