Cherotich could not hold back her emotions as she put on the well-fitting and classy ring from Ray, who joined virtually from abroad.

Kiambu man proposes at police station
In another story, a romantic man from Kiambu staged his girlfriend’s arrest before proposing to her at a police station.
Jackson Mungwari, a Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) officer, was behind the elaborate plan to have his lover, Judith, briefly placed in a cell before the surprise proposal.
Mungwari said the proposal was well planned and executed in collaboration with police officers, who were genuinely happy for the couple.
