A CCTV camera has captured the devastating moment a young man opened fire on another inside a classroom without provocation.

The footage showed the cold-blooded murder of a student who was in class with the suspect, accompanied by a young lady.
The shocking incident occurred early in the morning at 9:16am on Monday, February 9, leaving both students and netizens devastated.
Where did incident occur?
“A tragic incident has been reported in Tarn Taran district, Punjab State, India, where a first-year law student was allegedly shot dead inside a classroom. According to the police, the suspect, identified as Prince Raj, allegedly opened fire on his fellow student, Sandeep Kaur, who died instantly,” part of the caption read.

The clip showed students entering the class one by one, with Raj, Kaur, and another student entering together and sitting at the back.
The two young men were initially seen having a disagreement, which did not last long as they quickly cooled down and took their seats.
Raj then stood up momentarily and looked ahead, as though contemplating the heinous act he was about to commit.
Raj pulls trigger on fellow student
Kaur and the young lady were seated behind Raj, unaware of his next move as they waited for the class to begin while other students settled in.
Within moments, Raj pulled out a pistol and, in a fraction of a second, pointed it at Kaur, who had no time to defend himself, ask for mercy, or disarm his colleague.
He immediately pulled the trigger and shot him in the head, causing commotion as other students seated at the front of the class quickly turned around.

They appeared unsure of how to react and gathered near the green board, their faces covered in fear after the incident.
Police begin investigations after class shootout
The young lady who had been seated between the two men jumped up after Raj opened fire and slowly returned to the scene to check on her friends.
She reportedly found them both motionless and looked at them in disbelief, struggling to accept the tragic reality.
She left the two lying on the floor and walked away in tears, as other students rushed out of the classroom.
“Authorities stated that the motive behind the incident has not yet been established, and investigations are ongoing to determine the full circumstances surrounding the shooting and the possible factors that may have led to the attack.,” the caption concluded.

KMTC student shot dead by police
In another story, a Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) student was allegedly shot dead by police, leaving her family in tears.
Sherly Achieng’, 22, died on the spot as angered residents demanded justice for the young woman, whose death deeply pained her mother.
