Nairobi, Kenya: Well-wishers are desperately looking for a man idnetified as Mutua, who sadly lost his job and was thrown out os his house, so he had no option but to go back to his mum.

Mutua lost his job at an Indian man’s firm after he was asked to bring someone for a job, and out of a good heart, he called his wife’s cousin, but sadly, the young man stole from the job, and they were both kicked out of work.

In a video, Mutua is seen sharing his predicament with Geoffrey Mosiria, and he looks quite lost. In another video shared by Kenny Balo, he is seen talking over the phone with his dear mum, as she was his only hope in the predicament.
“My mum, I’m coming back home with nothing, only a packet of unga life has been hard in Nairobi,” said man in tears, explaining how life has been hard in Nairobi.
His mother asked him not to go home, but the man was adamant that he wanted to come home and not deal with his brothers in the city when he was vulnerable.
Jobs start coming for Mutua
While all that was happening, people of goodwill already heard of his story and were moved by it; they started looking for him, and so far, there has been a job offer from Expressway Lounge. There was, however, a hurdle as he seemed to be missing.
“Nowadays, blood doesn’t always feel thicker than water. I reached out to Mutua’s twin brother at exactly 10:00 a.m; he read my message but hasn’t responded up to now. I had properly introduced myself and clearly explained my intention that I was asking for a way to reach Mutua or his wife,” said a well-wisher, Damaris Mutula.

“A well-wisher had offered to help him secure a job at ExpressWay Lounge, we were also willing to chip in and see how we could support him after mentioning that he was a chef. Anyway, I choose to believe that wherever he is, he has found help. I wish him well, and may the heavens favour him,” she added.
Mutula shared that listening to him speak to his mother touched her. In the call, he explained that he hasn’t been working for some time and had lost his phone. When she advised him to look for his brothers in Nairobi for support, Mutua declined and said he would rather go back home, Matuu
“Sibling rivalry is real, I know, but still, wueh! I pray that he finds the help and stability he deserves,” said Damaris.
What did Kenyans have to say?
In another update, it emerged that some well-wishers took Mutua to the country bus and gave him money to pay the fare to Matuu, but he has never arrived at home.
“His mother is worried about him, and there are people who want to give him a job,” said a journalist from his home area identified as Mercy.
“We asked to pay his house for two months but he refused and now another job has come up in Lavington and he also can’t go because he is missing,” said the well-wisher.

Another story revealed that the last 11 years were not easy for Kelvin, a KMTC graduate, as he has never held a permanent job.
His mother, Wanjiru, started actively seeking job opportunities for him, applying online without his knowledge because he was sinking into depression.
Wanjiru pleaded with the local government and well-wishers for help, fearing for her son’s mental health as he is now working on locums and other jobs.
