The incident comes after Nigeria’s round-of-16 win over Mozambique at the 2026 Africa Cup of Nations, a match that saw a heated exchange between Osimhen and teammate Ademola Lookman.
While Nigeria advanced to the next stage, the on-field disagreement sparked a wave of reactions from fans and analysts. Bi Bernard was among the most vocal, publicly criticizing the Galatasaray forward over the confrontation.
Following his critique, Bi Bernard revealed on Instagram that Osimhen had blocked him. In a video that quickly went viral, the content creator expressed frustration at the striker’s action.
He stated:
“The idiot has blocked me. You actually blocked me? That’s very stupid. Have you ever fed me before?”
Bi Bernard insisted that his comments had been fair and noted that he had previously defended Osimhen in certain situations. He claimed he had argued against benching the striker and had also critiqued Lookman during the same debate.
He added:
“You misbehave on the field, and I was still making a case for you. I was even tough on Lookman, but you went ahead and blocked me.”
The content creator concluded by warning that Osimhen’s future performances would now be under closer scrutiny:
